September Horoscope By Alex Trenoweth
Ever wonder why people argue so much around you? Do you long for a bit of peace and quiet? Well, as long as you keep winding everyone up, there’s little chance of finding a little nook of serenity. Yes, it’s important to speak your mind and of course, you have important things to say. But the thing is, there is a time and a place to say them. So unless you want to be a magnet to every drama queen in town, perhaps it is best to try to hold your tongue a bit more this month. As Saturn moves into the sign of Sagittarius, you may find your philosophical beliefs are challenged or even ridiculed. Whatever the scenario, it will be best to keep you cool and hold a civil tongue or you could embarrass yourself by delivering a hot headed diatribe that will seem excessively (and unnecessarily) dramatic to all who witness it.
This is a great month to make contact with folks you haven’t seen for some time. In fact, isn’t about time you took a little detour down Memory Lane? In particular, you should concentrate on reminiscing about your past glories and accomplishments. All too often you forget how truly special you are and you rarely get an opportunity to let the real—and very accomplished–you bask in the limelight. As Saturn moves into Sagittarius, you may find it necessary to justify your decisions regarding any outstanding business deals. It may appear that others are questioning your motives (and you may well have your own questions too!) but all that is needed is a bit more clarity. Try not to read anything more into the situation than that: the need for simple explanations. And speaking of business: isn’t it time you got a little fresh air?
As you tend to see yourself as the intellectual of the zodiac, you delight in “sharing” (although some may simply call it “gossiping”) the juicy nuggets of information you have collected over the past few weeks. As much as you enjoy this exchange, you also need to bear in mind who will (or will not) benefit. The right information in the wrong hands could wreak havoc for all concerned—and land you in very hot water indeed. As Saturn moves into Sagittarius, the price you will have to pay for your indiscretions will become very apparent. Having said all this, you do seem to hold responsibility for ensuring that the right messages get to the right people. For this reason, trusting your gut instincts will be imperative. When in doubt, have a quiet word with a trusted authority figure who is in a better position to see objectively and help you make an informed decision.
Wooing friends in high places appears to be the key in getting you out of tight spots this month. In particular, you may need financial or business advice to help expedite any plans you have made. As Saturn moves into Sagittarius, you may feel increased responsibility to complete the more mundane tasks in life—you may even feel motivated to get yourself super organized by having that big clear out you’ve been talking about for years. But the really big news is that you are slowly learning the art of fine conversation. In fact, around the time of the eclipse, you may find yourself in the company of people who will not only allow you to express your concerns but who can aid you in finding the solutions to the dilemmas that have long plagued you. Do bear in mind the fine line between “gossip” and a healthy exchange of information.
Well if it isn’t enough being charming, you have to be all intellectual as well! Use this month to attract as many influential people to you as you possibly can. Encourage others to share their secrets of success with you and be sure to take good notes! You will find ample opportunities to apply your knowledge to secure beneficial business deals that not only have the potential to produce a bit more jingle in your pockets but give you an uncommon sense of pride and achievement. As Saturn moves into Sagittarius, you may feel a sense that the party is coming to an end. New responsibilities enter your life that require your attention. In particular, financial obligations rear their ugly heads, making you glad you had been listening to sound advice early in the month.
As a person who works so hard, it can be especially difficult for you to endure what you perceive as a lack of effort from others. So when you lose your own sense of direction and find it difficult to find your own motivation, there will be to be a temptation to be hard on yourself. Rather than beating yourself up, use this quietly time wisely: enjoy the peace by indulging in listening to music or other meditative activities. Once you restore your inner balance, you should find your sound financial guidance (gained through experience) helps restore conflicts around you. As Saturn moves into Sagittarius, you can channel your talents into home improvements or working through those niggling emotional issues you have been setting aside. The solar eclipse in your own sign marks the beginning of a phase of self-development and understanding.
If developing your spiritual side has been on your agenda, then this is a great month to begin your studies. Over this past year, you have put a lot of effort into helping others and now is the time to pay more attention to what you need. What you have really been missing is the company of friends and a better (or simply more of a) social scene. Even though you still feel you have to be careful with what you say at times, you should find this month helps you get to the roots of some issues that have been bothering you for a long time. As Saturn moves into Sagittarius, arguments may erupt amongst those who are closest to you. As disturbing as you find this, you would do well to remember, it is better to have arguments than to have total silence. The eclipse signals a time of volunteering some of your time to help others. However, don’t become so wrapped in everyone else that you forget what is important to you.
Under normal circumstances, you are a guarded person but yet have the uncanny ability to get to the bottom of any crisis in order to find a solution. For some time, you have been aware that something is going on behind your back and have been unable to pinpoint what the problem could be. Now however, rumours are confirmed as more facts come to light: the ambitions and successes of other people have perhaps caused jealousy in the workplace. There also appears to be misunderstandings over finances and, as Saturn moves into Sagittarius, there is an increased likelihood that these issues are discussed more openly. You could play along and say nothing or you could just use your skills as a diplomat to help others reach an agreement. No matter what you decide to do—and whether you like it or not–judgments will be made on your value as friend.
August has been a great month to enjoy doing the things you like: travelling and learning. But September is a time to deepen your knowledge and consider passing on your knowledge to others. Your skills as a teacher or trainer are very likely to be put to good use and if at all possible, you should ensure you take up these opportunities. As Saturn makes its way back into your own sign, you may feel as obligated to take on more and more responsibilities. Is this really such a bad thing? Well, as you prefer to be footloose and fancy free, yes, it can seem like you are being made to do something you don’t like. Instead of focusing on your obligations, perhaps you should think of how these experiences can enhance your life as time goes on. The solar eclipse ensures new prospects in the area of your career so if you can overcome your fear of being tied down, it will pay dividends in the long run.
Not much bothers you–except for the fear of being exposed. As Saturn moves into Sagittarius, you may feel as if everything is far too wild and unpredictable. Add that to the feeling of being isolated from your few creature comforts and it’s bound to be a very uncomfortable couple of years. But does it have to be this way? Your talents lie in creating abundance from scarcity. If you could bear this in mind as you venture out into the big wide world, there’s every chance you can show others how to have a good time. You might even crack a smile every now and again. The solar eclipse this month falls in the area of your life that governs your deep and inner emotions. So whilst this month may hold the very daunting prospect of being too full of choice promises, there is every chance you will be able to enjoy letting your emotions have a good run about the metaphorical park.
Why do they act like they need attention? Because they need it! This is going to be a month where every single drama queen seems to demand your attention. As you would rather not be on centre stage this suits you just fine. So whilst your nearest and dearest are busy making fools of themselves, you will be left with some very big questions to ponder on your own—and of course, they will be the big, hairy emotional kind that tend to have you scrambling for the nearest exit. The most frightening aspect for you is that everyone seems to be in on the act from your closest allies to your casual acquaintances to your worst enemies. Rather than isolating yourself from everyone, why not spend a bit of time this month contemplating what kind of friend you are to others? The solar eclipse marks a time of soul searching and a quest for deeper meaning so relax and go with the flow rather than trying to resist all the time.
As you scramble about trying to put things in their proper order, you are bound to take many people by surprise. No one would dare to go so far as to call you disorganized but it hasn’t escaped anyone’s attention that order and neatness does not necessarily follow you. Whilst you have everyone’s attention, you should spend a little time planning your next career move. Planning ahead, like order and neatness, is not a skill people tend to associate with you—so make sure everyone sees that you are fully capable of doing it at least once in your lifetime. As Saturn moves into Sagittarius, you may find there is a bit of pressure to make a commitment to step out of your shell and into the big, wide world of career development. The solar eclipse marks a time of finally getting to grips with what other people expect of you—and there is every chance you will surpass their expectations.
