The Dorchester Flower Power Tea Celebrates the Chelsea Flower Show
Calling the modern Holly Golightly’s…Hands up who wants throw on their prettiest day dress, and skip off to The Dorchester for the most inventive, flower power afternoon tea in town? We thought so! But then who needs an excuse to while away an afternoon, drinking the champagne of goddesses – blush pink Laurent-Perrier Cuvee Rose – and agonizing over which darling, flower-power inspired fancy to coo and graze on, inspired by Dan Stephens Chatsworth entry at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show?
Florist Philip Hammand Conjures Up a Woodland Setting
Philip Hammond, the Dorchester’s wizard florist, will be waving his emerald hands over the Dorchester Promenade’s lovely setting and wittily referencing Dan’s garden with a sprinkling of woodland bouquets and miniature trees. The cakes will be works of art in confectionary – get set for flower baskets, chocolate mousse soil and a beehive that is really a tart, and destined to delight!
This exquisite afternoon tea is only available between May 18th and May 24th to celebrate Chatsworth at The RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
This exquisite afternoon tea ritual includes a selection of artisan cakes, scones, finger sandwiches and a glass of Laurent Perrier Cuvee Rose – fabled the world over by wine connoisseurs for soft berries flavours on the palate and a marvellous depth of colour.
Priced from £59 per person, The Dorchester’s Laurent-Perrier Chelsea Flower Show Afternoon Tea will be available in The Promenade during the week of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, with five sittings daily from 1pm, 2pm, 3.15pm, 4.30pm and 5.30pm.
