Sacred Spirits will be reviving the fine art of the cocktail on Tuesday the 10th September, with the finest chocolate martini in town, created using their celebrated Highgate distilled, organic vodka. The vodka is the work of city whiz turned scientist and alchemist, Ian Hart.

  • Now don’t you dare miss all the fun!  The place to be? – The Ethical Hedonist Chocolate Odyssey at Rococo Chocolates in Knightsbridge, London. We are celebrating our wonderful British artisan and organic brands from chocolate to handmade artisan beauty by Inlight Organic Skincare from St Keverne, Cornwall. It’s all part of Organic September, with The Soil Association – a whole month devoted to food tastings, special events and opportunities to find out about amazing organic producers all over the UK.

More about Sacred Spirits of Highgate

One day Ian Hart waved goodbye to his job in the city, dusted off his chemistry books from Cambridge, and started an artisan distillery in his eyrie, overlooking majestic Highgate Hill. Ian’s remarkable gin and vodka revives the fine art of the London distiller. Prepare to be captivated by the taste and purity of the vodka. Ian’s vodka is so clear it sparkles like crystal. The spirits are handmade in small batches, using  marvellous botanicals from frankincense to boswellia – no wonder he has won a plethora of gold medals!

Come and graze on sophisticated canapés and cocktails with extraordinary ingredients from Pukka Herbs and Organic Burst, whilst soaking up the utterly divine location. Then, listen to two talks that will leave you buzzing for days, and may well even change your life for the better.  The Rococo Tearoom is tucked away on bustling Motcomb Street, which has a gorgeous villagey feel. It’s one of London’s best-kept secrets. Whilst the tearoom would delight any magpie, with it’s pretty Murano glass chandelier’s looking like boiled sweets, and shelves and counters jam packed with utterly divine and scrumptious chocolate delights from truffles filled with single malt to the single estate Grenada bar.

Once you have experienced the talks, there will be ample time to mingle, talk and buy yummy chocolate and wonderful beauty elixirs to take home.
