All about Melissa
Profession: Occupational Therapist, aged 25.
Your best green tip? Make your own flavoured oil by just adding fresh chillis, blackcurrants, rosemary, lavender and thyme. You can use this to add a zing to your cooking! Or in the bath (not the chilli one!), or over ice cream.
Favourite place in the whole wide world? Anywhere with an amazing sunset, cold beer, and hot climate. Byron Bay, Australia and Fiji are recent, favourite destinations.
What would you do if you were prime minster for a day? Man, that’s a hard one! Where do I start? Stop deforestation, erm…. make everyone vegetarian, ban TV and computer games!
Now the fashion angle. How to Achieve Relaxed Eco Glamour…
Melissa is wearing a slouchy, off the shoulder t-shirt, which drapes like a dream and is made from a new, state of the art eco textile which is derived from the Eucalyptus plant. What we love about this top is the eye catching, feminine swallow emblem and the idea that you can just throw it on and it exudes instant glamour and allure. I love the way Melissa has accessorised this look with a chic, Left Bank beret – ooh la la!
Eco Credentials
This off the shoulder top was made in a Fair Wear Foundation audited factory and is printed on 100% Eucalyptus Tencel. It was transported by ship, not air. Printed with phthalate-free inks and hand-finished in the UK. Cool Wash, Hang Dry
