Let’s all go to Henley-On-Thames Artisan Christmas Fair!
If your weekend is free, why don’t you have a magnificent shopping adventure and visit Henley-On-Thames Artisan Christmas Fair.
It’s where I grew up, so I can highly recommend a trip to Henley! I love the place and it has avoided clone town syndrome rather well.
Henley-On-Thames exudes charm and personality and is the place to head for the discerning shopper in search of authentic, artisan food and wonderful present ideas from local designer-makers and gourmet food producers.
This weekend (December 1st) Love Henley will host their inaugural event celebrating the very best of high end, artisan brands at the chic Hotel Du Vin, New Street.
This exciting community event will feature entertainment, exquisite jewellery, local free range meats, smoked cheeses, English wines, beers and liqueurs, handmade cakes and sweets, and a whole host of other fantastic artisan goodies.
There will also be two wonderful workshops taking place this Sunday, led by fun and talented local artists. Jo Wise from Green & Gorgeous Organic Flowers will teach guests the fine art of Christmas wreath-making, while Sam Brown will host a fabulous Ukulele for Christmas workshop.
Tickets for these workshops are on sale through WeGotTickets.
The event will also feature a fantastic raffle to raise funds for Millie’s Dream who are aiming to buy 10 defibrillators for schools in Henley by Christmas.
We know where we will be this weekend…do you?
