Alison Jane Reid
Alison Jane Reid, our founder and editor-in-chief, is a UK feature writer, editor and slow, sustainable champion. She has a twenty year track-record on national newspapers and magazine, notably a decade at The Times Magazine writing about icons, fashion, food and design. AJ trained as a journalist at Mirror Group Newspapers and has also worked at The Lady Magazine as contributing feature and fashion editor. Her beautifully crafted, thought-provoking interviews have been read by millions in - The Sunday Times, The Independent, You, Country Life, Red, The Illustrated London News and The Evening Standard and ES Magazine. Alison Jane consults for the world's luxury brands and works as a book editor and mentors undergraduates into journalism, pr and marketing.
Troy Aidoo is an award-winning, London based filmmaker, videographer and photographer.
After taking a media degree, he interned at Nylon films and garnered his first award for a short film on the Rambert Dance Company. Troy is a contributing videographer at Ethical Hedonist and worked on the BBC initiative In My Shoes.
Troy has a special interest in sustainable fashion, mental health and diversity. He says, " I'm passionate about social issue and society as a whole. I would love to do more work in this area to bring about a positive effect on the lives of others."
Clara Copley is a contributing fashion photographer based in London. Her sought after skills include: creative high fashion and beauty photography, art direction, high end retouching, editorial photography for magazine and newspapers. Clara is available to work on exciting, high end collaborations with our editor, Alison Jane, who has an 18 year track record on national newspapers interviewing and directing fashion features with the world's A list icons from Keira Knightley to Iman and Twiggy.
Christian Bell is a web designer, graphic designer and filmmaker currently based in Tokyo. At Ethical Hedonist he handles all things technical.
