Green and Sexy Media Campaign Update
STOP PRESS – We will be announcing to the winner of our Dru Yoga, Snowdonia retreat competition at the end of July, when we have lots of lovely new supporters on @Patreon, our monthly crowd funding platform. This giveaway is for supporters, patreon subscribers, donors and ethical business backers. Please note the retreat can either be taken in September 2017 or at a date to be agreed in 2018. This giveaway is worth up to £400 and the editor’s decision is final.
Dear Ethical Hedonist Tribe, sometimes life and growing success gets in the way. Following the sudden death of my partner’s mother, and an exciting upturn in advertising and sponsorship, it was impossible to carry on with the crowd funding campaign at this time. Sometimes, you just can’t do it all, and I made the difficult decision to end the campaign after months of hard work and preparation.
EH T-shirts, Storytelling and Super Natural Beauty
As it was an all or nothing campaign, no pledges were taken and the campaign has been removed. This means that if you backed us your money has not been taken, because it was an all or nothing campaign. The good news is that we would still love to offer you your ethical hedonist goodies. So if you pledged for a t-shirt, EH shop beauty treasures, a business reward or experience, we would love to fulfill your rewards directly with the magazine. Or if you would like to become a supporter you can donate to our new PayPal button on the homepage or find us on @Patreon and take out a voluntary subscription to Ethical Hedonist Magazine.
Please also get in touch if you pledged or are interested in us creating a bespoke, storytelling campaign for your sustainable business. Either way, we still really need your support as we develop and expand the magazine, secure long-term funding, and champion the heroes and heroines of the sustainable and circular economy revolution. We also want to start our foundation to help journalists from all backgrounds and diversities work at the magazine and get paid a bursary.
The campaign certainly helped to raise the profile of Ethical Hedonist Magazine. More and more people like our goals for a new green and sexy media that champions a smart, intelligent and unashamedly aspirational approach to sustainable living. Now, I’m focused on turning these opportunities into reality, while I bring more contributing journalists, filmmakers and photojournalists onboard to expand Ethical Hedonist into an exciting multi media platform. We will revisit crowd funding in the near future. This time, we may offer an equity based offer for readers to have a stake in the magazine. Watch this space.
Find our more by joining in our Ethical Hour sponsorship on Monday July 10th, when I will be talking about the power of journalistic storytelling in long form, sponsored features, videos and short films for sustainable luxury and circular economy brands. Look out for the hashtag #ethicalhour and join in the conversation.
Please email us at the magazine if you backed our campaign and want to organise payment and have your reward sent out – email@example.com
