EH November Horoscope by Alex Trenoweth
It’s very hard for other people to predict just what you might do next. One minute you may come across all fluffy bunny and the next you’re like a T-Rex on amphetamines. If you could just take a few minutes out of your chaotic day to stop and reflect on your motives, you may discover that the reasons underpinning your changing moods may be less to do with simple changes in circumstances and more to do with a need to control the people around you—especially those who are in power positions. Your boss or supervisor is someone you have been keeping an eye on for some time and this month, you are on the verge of completely blowing your cover. Try to keep your emotions in check and at the same time remain on your guard: you are right to feel something is not quite what it seems but if you lose your cool, you will never be able to put your finger on the underlying problem.
It is often said that Taurus is the most stubborn sign of the zodiac. Down-to-earth and immovable, one can usually rely on a Bull to be the anchor in any difficult situation. And this is all true—unless said Bull has been wound up to a frenzy beforehand. Changing circumstances, particularly if they are arranged without giving you fair warning, drive you wild and you start this month feeling completely on the wrong foot. Which of course, only serves to make you even more angry. Before you fly into a rage, take some time out and have some ice cream or something. It really isn’t as bad as you thought it would be. Listen carefully to what others are trying to tell you and take your time in choosing the right words to express how you are feeling. And remember, a change (even if it did happen behind your back) is not always a bad thing.
Under so-called “normal” circumstances, you are the kind of person who likes to skip around carefully avoiding any chance of taking on more responsibilities. However, these days you have the inkling that there are important opportunities around you that need to be taken advantage of. The problem is that there is some confusion around how you should be using these inklings to make the most of them. To combat this, a little time is needed to reflect on what it is you actually want to achieve. Do you want long lasting results or do you just want to take tiny steps one at a time? You are in a very good position to add a touch of glamour to all you do so get out the glitter, put on a little lippy (if you are so inclined) and smile for the cameras. But remember, a few pictures really do say a thousand words—and with the help of social media, they are likely to reach a very wide audience.
This month you are at your sensitive best—and at your moodiest. To make matters even more challenging is that you have the knack of attracting the most difficult people known in the universe. Every complainer, whinger, whiner and naysayer will find their way to you in the hope that you can do something to solve their problems. And what do you do? Instead of telling these negative people to sort their own dilemmas out, you take them to your proverbial breast to offer comfort and reassurances. The result? You get more difficult people at your doorstep making ever-increasing demands. Whilst it’s so nice to be needed, there is a fine line between being helpful and being manipulated into doing something that does absolutely nothing for you (no, you are not paying off some karmic debt by being a doormat). Take people by surprise by asking for a little something in return. You will be pleasantly surprised by how much this changes the game in the workplace.
After enjoying being the centre of attention for so long, it can be hard to get used to being in the dark. In fact, these days you might be feeling a little on the paranoid side. Every bump in the night or knock at the door makes you jump in anticipation of disaster. Isn’t it time you got a grip? There is so much that can be done now that you don’t have to worry about your hair looking good. All those little jobs you’ve been putting off (or getting someone else to do)? It’s time you got on with them. Managing your own workspace may not be your preferred idea of a good time but it is a perfect opportunity to getting some semblance of order in your life. Re-organise, re-structure and put the finishing touches on projects you left half finished. And when you think you’re all caught up, how about doing a little voluntary work for a good cause? There’s lots that needs to be done in this world so while your waiting for your next audition, try to put back what you have taken.
This month should be all about you. Except it isn’t. More than any other sign of the zodiac, Virgos understand the need to listen to body and soul. You’ve been working hard and looking forward to some quiet time. And just when you think you’ve earned a break? There’s a knock at the door and there’s someone on your doorstep who needs you to drop everything and come to their rescue. Or you just get the house the way you like it and some messy relative comes around and manages to re-arrange things to suit them—and drive you crazy. This is one of those months that your home becomes the centre of everyone’s attention. Which only means a lot more work for you. Of course you could (and not that you would ever seriously entertain this thought) shut yourself away and wait for the din to die down. Or you could just relax, throw your doors open wide and get down to partying with everyone else. Your call.
This really is a good month for you to set some time aside to focus on being creative. Whether you are a musician, a poet, a potter or a painter, the artistic juices are flowing and you will be drawn to those who share your imaginative processes. Be sure you avoid withdrawing into your own world (as tempting as this might be) and instead reach out to friends or join groups of artists to ensure you really get the most out of this fun filled time. If you are the type of Libran who will insist that you have no creative muse, then it’s time to borrow a child to show you how it’s all done. Admire each other’s work, appreciate the beauty around you and feel satisfied in knowing that you have taken advantage of this fun filled time. Of course, there is always work to do but what the hell? You only live once.
Come out, come out wherever you are! These are words to strike terror in every Scorpio heart. However, this month you are feeling unusually sociable and the need to hang out with other vampires—I mean friends—is likely to be an appealing one. Re-charging your batteries by doing something completely and unexpectedly different is also the key to inspiring you to re-think some of your future plans. Enrolling in a new educational course (or perhaps even teaching one) is very likely to bring you much satisfaction and fulfillment. This is a month that could lead to life changing opportunities in many different areas—if you can keep an open mind and not limit yourself to the tried and trusted. Try not to let concerns about money put you off having fun. As you well know, money comes and goes but some opportunities never come around again.
As the Truth Seeker of the zodiac, you tend not to be too bothered if a few little secrets manage to spill out from somewhere. That is: you’re not too bothered as long as they are not your little secrets. Whilst it may feel as if everyone is all over your business, it is important to maintain a little perspective as the mud starts to fly: 1) There’s so much mud flying about that everyone gets dirty and 2) Everyone is getting so dirty that not many will notice how much mud has actually landed on you. Having said this, as much fun as this might be, it’s a pretty good idea to bear in mind that there are some people who will not be as comfortable amongst such chaos as you are. Remember that some folks have very good—and very selective—memories that are completely incapable of hitting the ‘erase and rewind’ button. And also that such minds are likely to gossip for a very long time to come.
You may be the hard-nosed business person of the zodiac but not everyone necessarily understands this. In fact, by the end of the month, you may have the distinct impression that every over sensitive fool has come to you for a bit of sympathy and comfort. And can you provide a little sympathy? Well, you can. In fact, you will. There is something about the plight of others that touches you deeply (though this might not necessarily mean you touch your wallet to help them). What you hear on the news or through local gossip has a deep and profound impact on how you perceive the world. And to everyone’s surprise, you are open with how you feel. Of course, you being you, every single politician from the most local to the most global is going to hear about it too. Don’t forget to use all social media sites to help you spread the news to get support for the causes dearest to your heart.
You have prided yourself on being a friend to all but over the coming months you will be doing some deep soul searching on what really constitutes being a good friend. To some people, friends drop everything to help those within their inner circles and to others, a good friend is someone who stands back and lets someone find their own feet in order to gain independence. It all used to make perfect sense to you but these days there seems to be a real dilemma within you: how much of yourself do you need to sacrifice before you stop being a friend and start being an enabler? Or just how often should you play superhero to the friend who repeatedly takes advantage of you? It’s all very confusing and very time-consuming but over time, the conclusions to which you come will be very useful indeed.
You’re not going to like it very much but this is a month for making decisions. Serious decisions. And not the kind of decisions that you are forced to make because you’ve left everything to the last minute but the kind of decisions that need careful forethought and consideration. If the thought of making a decision of your own accord strikes terror into your very thought then be comforted by the thought that yes, you may call a friend to help you think the answer through (and no, you can’t let your friend make up your mind for you). The reason for being self-reliant is that you are the one who is most affected by the decisions you make. It’s very easy for you to forget that. So don’t be afraid to step up to the plate and make your needs known before you take a swing at the opportunities before you.
