My first crowd funded feature-writing project on the talented British actress Eleanor Tomlinson is about to run out. Eleanor is a big fan of sustainable British fashion and wears wonderful, intricate, fairytale gowns by the couturier to watch, Lucy Tammam, Creative Director at Atelier Tammam, Bloomsbury.
There has been a rather big gap in the campaign due to the many other demands of founding and editing a startup magazine! I am sure you realise how busy it must get at EH HQ. I’ve been immersed in staging a very exciting event at Rococo Chocolates to showcase my sustainable living, ‘Emerald Revolution’ ideas. You can see some pictures here. We had wonderful talks on everything from more ethical ways to send money around the globe with Zympay – to the delicious chocolate adventures of Chantal Coady, founder of Rococo Chocolates, and a funny and smart talk by sustainability whiz, Jae Mather, at HW Fisher on why local is the way to go in everything from local shopping to exciting ways to build closer local communities… all very inspiring, fun and positive for a fairer and more compassionate world.
So I need your help to make this campaign a success. My interviews with icons area my USP and create lots of interest and excitement in Ethical Hedonist. By buying a reward or donating to the campaign, you are helping to fund a vibrantly independent magazine by a journalist with a twenty-year track of inspiring journalism that touches people’s hearts. Ethical Hedonist champions inspirational ideas and ideals of sustainability from slow luxury fashion to organic food and farming and everything in between.
In the coming weeks, Ethical Hedonist is going to move onto an exciting new crowd funding platform called www.patreon.com and you will be able to vote for the interviews and features you want and love and to get totally involved in a new type of magazine that is fun, champions unforgettable journalism and is inspiringly interactive with you, the reader. I hope you will join in my Ethical Hedonist, Emerald Princess Revolution.
Please note, as it is unlikely we will reach the target for me to write and research the Eleanor feature by tonight, the campaign will continue on our new monthly crowd funding campaign site for the magazine as a whole on www.patreon.com
