The Ventnorian Shop © Alexander Crum Ewing

A Traditional Shop where you will find a cornucopia of treasures from lace parasols to magnificent children’s toys, eco shampoo and whole lot more.

Follow the elegant Victorians, and flaunt a handmade English parasol, the hot accessory of summer. Made to be twirled and paraded in the most feminine, artful way imaginable, the parasol is the clever way to protect delicate complexions from the sun this summer and still get that all important fifteen minute dose of vitamin D. At the Ventnorian, you will want a lacy, delicate, flirty parasol in every colour, but especially sexy black. Think Steve Nicks in leather and lace. To that you can add a cornucopia of handpicked sustainable treasures that you won’t find on the High Street. Lesley the charming owner, also stocks mineral sunscreen, a small assortment of potted herbs, strawberry plants, chemical free beauty staples and the most desirable, traditional children’s toys to be found anywhere. Who could resist a pink hobbyhorse or a spinning top? This is also the place to stock up on interesting organic chocolate bars, herbal teas, and healthy
store cupboard ingredients.

Parasols from £12.00 -24.00
