There is no need to go anywhere near a supermarket this Christmas. Head for the wonderfully festive Slow Food Christmas market on the Southbank and shop for seasonal, organic and artisan goodies to create an effortless feast to remember. This Christmas the market is open until Tuesday evening.

My Best Buys: Amazing wild smoked mussels from the wonderful Malmo Nordic Dining, gently smoked wild salmon from Shell Seekers, biodynamic fizz from Green and Blue, extraordinary Christmas cake from Manna and artisan charcuterie from the wonderful Polish Delicatessen.

Enjoy!

The Slow Food Market is open now and Monday and Tuesday at the South Bank Centre Square, London SE1. Nearest Tube: Waterloo, or walk over Jubillee Footbridge or Waterloo Bridge.

Monday 21st December: 11.00am – 8.00pm

Tuesday 22nd December: 11.00am – 6.00pm

…And a P.S. from His Majesty, who has discovered that there will be a tasting of Balvenie Whisky at 4.00pm each day. Slainth!
